Nazim Zai Khan to head FCS&CA Shreya Singhal gets add’l charge as Dir Info Kmr

Srinagar, Mar 30: The Jammu and Kashmir government on Monday carried out a reshuffle in the administration, ordering transfers and fresh postings of several IAS and JKAS officers across key departments, including Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Agriculture, Tourism and Information. An order issued by the General Administration Department said the changes have been made “in the interest of administration” and shall take immediate effect. Under the new arrangement, Nazim Zai Khan, IAS (AGMUT: 2013), who was serving as Mission Director, Mission Vatsalya/Shakti (ICPS), has been posted as Director, FCS&CA, Kashmir. Dr Sagar Doifode Dattatray, IAS (AGMUT: 2014), Director, FCS&CA Kashmir, has been transferred as

Special Secretary to the Government, Agriculture Production Department. He will also hold the additional charge of Mission Director, Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP) and Jammu and Kashmir Competitiveness Improvement Project (JKCIP). Consequently, Sandeep Kumar, IFS (AGMUT: 2011), has been relieved of these additional responsibilities and has been asked to await further orders in the Forest, Ecology and Environment Department. Shreya Singhal, IAS (AGMUT: 2020), Managing Director, J&K Tourism Development Corporation, who is also holding additional charge as CEO, JK ERA, has been assigned the additional charge of Director, Information, J&K. She will assume charge of the post from April 1, 2026, in addition to her

existing responsibilities. Mahima Madan, IAS (AGMUT: 2021), Additional Secretary in the Information Technology Department, has been divested of the additional charge of Additional Secretary, Resident Commission, New Delhi. She, however, continues to hold charge as CEO, JaKeGA. Amit Gupta, IAS (AGMUT: 2023), who was awaiting adjustment in the GAD, has been posted as Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Pahalgam. He replaces Qaiser Mehmood, JKAS, who has been directed to await further orders. Meanwhile, Rajesh Kumar Shavan, JKAS, Special Secretary in the Tribal Affairs Department, has been transferred and posted as Director, FCS&CA Jammu. He replaces Rifat Kohli, JKAS, who has also been asked to await further orders of posting.
